2007 U.S. Greenhouse Gas Inventory: Executive Summary (PDF)
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) leads U.S. environmental science, research, education and assessment efforts. As part of this mission, the EPA develops an annual greenhouse gas inventory for the United States. In preparing the annual emissions inventory report, the EPA collaborates with hundreds of experts representing more than a dozen U.S. government agencies, academic institutions, industry associations, consultants and environmental organizations.
